Note
Ports 143, 110, 465 and 587 are not available. MailBots does not provide outbound SMTP.
Catch-all addresses and login
After activation, mail sent to any local part at the connected subdomain is delivered to the same mailbox—for example build-102@otp.example.com and checkout-test@otp.example.com.
Those recipient addresses are not usernames. Always authenticate with the generated mbx_… login shown in the dashboard.
Generic client setup
- Choose manual account configuration and select IMAP or POP3.
- Enter the server, encrypted port, full generated username and password exactly as shown above.
- Disable outgoing mail or leave SMTP unconfigured. Test receiving with a new external message.
- If authentication fails after rotation, remove the saved password from the client and enter the new one.
